This role will involve managing, organising and coordinating all aspects of daily farm operations including planting, irrigation, pest control and harvesting. A minimum of 10 years of farming experience especially with row crops and horticulture is required.

Knowledge Of	Farming techniques, irrigation systems, crop nutrition and crop health management / High cost control competencies

Requirements

Manage, organise and coordinate all aspects of daily farm operations
Coordinate schedules and monitor the work activities of the farm workers
Manage and monitor the quality and quantity of crops
Track and document farm practices of the operation
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
Schedule repairs, maintenance and replacement of equipment and machinery as required
Recruit, train and supervise farm workers
Assist management to prepare budgets and financial reports
Manage finances and expenditure against agreed budgets
