A reputable retail entity is seeking a Creditors Clerk to join their team. Knowledge of ZIMRA requirements for ITF263s, withholding tax and ZIMRA compliant tax invoices is essential for this position. Applicants must have a certificate in accounts, as well as experience in a retail entity.

Requirements
  • Capturing supplier invoices in Evo – daily
  • Inputting and processing ZWL bank transactions from the statements to EVO through to the DWH - daily
  • Paying officer – administering, capturing, and reconciling the Petty Cash for transactions
  • Daily Cashbook Reconciliation to physical cash on hand
  • Computation of WHT Return by the 10th – monthly
  • Reconciliation of WHT statement from ZIMRA – quarterly
  • Accumulating all complaint suppliers’ invoices for VAT claims – daily
  • Posting into VAT input claims schedule – monthly
  • Reconcile AP Ledgers against supplier statements – weekly
  • Follow up on any outstanding or missing invoices – weekly
  • Reconciliation of Creditor Age Analysis monthly balances to individual account balances – biweekly
  • Reconcile General ledger balance to the AP sub-ledger balance – monthly
  • Reconciliation and reporting of GRV accruals account - monthly
  • Obtaining and verifying supplier ITF263s – as required
  • Creditors Age Analysis (ZWL&USD) – bi-weekly
  • VAT file, input claims up to date by 20th of each month for previous month – monthly
  • Reconciling VAT claims in files ensuring posted in EVO
  • Prepayment and sundry debtor schedule – monthly
  • Performance of ZWL reconciliations between EVO, DWH and bank statements – monthly
  • Daily Petty Cash Book to Accountant to validate – daily
  • Supporting schedules for monthly audit file
  • ITF263 Database
