A well-established organisation is in search of an astute accounting graduate with a minimum of 2 years post article experience to join their organisation as a financial analyst. Your attention to detail and your ability to analyse business performance make you well-suited for this opportunity. The ideal candidate will proficient be in modelling in Excel. Requirements
  • Checks daily that the reconciliation system is operating efficiently and accurately and escalates issues and errors to the Technical Operations and Projects Lead.
  • Reconciles all settlement payments by Partner Banks and Operations Analyst to Merchants and Billers, to ensure that they have been successfully and accurately processed.
  • Reconciles daily all relevant payment types and services and hands over identified unusual credits or debits and failed liquidations to the Financial Operations Analyst for investigation
  • Checks that inventory balances on all platforms and services are sufficient for daily operations (Pinless, Txt, Hot Recharge) and sends purchase orders for all balances below the re-order level for processing by the Assistant Accountant.
  • Receives and communicates price changes and system updates from MNOs to the Financial operations analyst and Technical operations Lead.
  • Tracks inventory usage and reports potential stockouts to relevant parties
  • Reconciles consignment stock balances against supplier reports
  • Analyses all refund requests sent by the Contact Centre team and confirms whether funds have been received in bank accounts.
  • Processes Utils refunds & reversals for failed transactions, hands over confirmed manual refunds to the Financial Operations Analyst
