A large outsourcing organization is looking for an individual with strong knowledge of HR/Payroll technology including payroll, time and attendance, HRIS and Self-service systems. You will partner closely with Human Resources and field leadership and will be responsible for all payroll processing duties within their region.

Requirements
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for up to 750 hourly, salaried, and temporary employees timely and accurately in accordance with the federal, state and local regulations; including reviewing and importing hours from time and attendance system, entering tax and direct deposit information, administering regulatory requirements, e.g., garnishments, tax levies, and support orders, and other adjustments to pay as necessary.
  • Input benefit deductions, expense reimbursements and other deductions as needed.
  • Payroll reconciliations and payroll taxes
  • Process QuickCalc requests for manual check information.
  • Promptly respond to payroll related inquiries
  • Run reports for pay statements generated.
  • Process employee terminations, including PTO payouts, final deductions, and issue final paychecks in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensure employees eligible for PTO have the correct policy set up.
  • Exercise payroll best practices to improve efficiency and consult with Human Resources team to recommend payroll and HRIS process improvements.
  • Prepare quarterly tax credit reports and submit to third party vendor.
  • Respond to employee Verifications of Employment (VOEs).
  • Administer the time and attendance policy and paid leave policy for all employees.
  • Maintain employee records
  • Produces scheduled and ad-hoc reports pertaining to payroll and human resources requirements.
  • Other tasks/duties as assigned.
