A Financial Accountant is sought for a successful FMCG entity. You will provide IFRS and GAAP compliant financial statements, ensuring accurate, on time preparation of company financials within set deadlines. In addition, you must always provide analysis to enable informed business decisions.

Requirements

Financial Reporting and Analysis
Business Unit Accounting
Statutory Returns: Complete, submit and pay for statutory obligations within set
Insurance and Vehicle Licensing: Ensure/check that the cost of licenses is amortized appropriately
Human Resources: Train and develop staff in department
Budgeting: Prepare the departmental budget in consultation with departmental heads and submit for review by Finance Manager
Risk Management: Ensure internal systems and controls are effective and efficient
Personal Development: Instigate own personal and professional development needs on specific job-related competencies
