Job offer: Procurement & Trade Execution Officer

Our Client in the Manufacturing sector is looking for a Procurement & Trade Execution Officer.

to join their committed and dedicated team. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position.

The candidate should have experience in the Soybean, soy meal, and Soybean Crude Oil industries and should have a detailed understanding of import and export procedures. 

Responsibilities:

Procurement

• Preparation of the procurement contracts for Soybean, Soya meal, CDSBO,
• Palm Stearin, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Olein, PFAD
• Documentation of the contracts
• Regularization of the contracts in SAP and PO creation
• Ensure correct reporting to the suppliers on the goods received
• Ensure the reporting to the suppliers in case of deviation in the agreed specification

Sales                   

• Preparation of the contracts as per the agreed terms and conditions with the customers
• Prepare the shipment plan for the customer’s basis for the agreed delivery schedule.
• Ensure the on-time reporting on the shipments to the customers.

Inbound Logistics

• Liasoning with the cross-functional team and ensuring that all the permits are in place before import starts
• Prepare and share the report on contract-wise volume received and balance to be received daily
• Prepare and share the report on the Import permits and communicate with the suppliers for the shipment plan.

Outbound Logistics

• Plan for logistics as per the shipment schedule contracted with the customer
• Discuss with the transporter and ensure the placement of trucks for the delivery contracts of B2B products
• Discuss with the customer the placement of the trucks
• Liaisoning with the cross-functional team on the readiness for loading of the trucks.

Reporting                                        

Procurement:

Prepare and circulate the report on the procurement of the following products daily

1. Soybean
2. Soya Meal
3. CDSBO
4. Palm Stearin
5. Palm Oil
6. Palm Olein
7. PFAD

Sales:                 

Preparation of contract-wise sales reports for the following products:

1. Soya Meal
2. Cotton Meal
3. Cotton Hulls
4. Sesame
5. Castor
6. Other products 

Job Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/ Purchasing and Supply.
• SAP trained
• Potential to develop excellent business skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A good understanding of supply chain concepts and supplier analysis methods.
• Professional certification or studying towards advanced level CIPS.
