The Group Program Manager works closely with and reports to the Group Chief Information Officer, and moderate travel is expected to Strategic Business Units (SBUs) across Africa.
This senior role is critical and requires a balance of strategic oversight and operational involvement to manage competing priorities effectively across multiple functions to achieve significant deliverables.
The successful person will lead and oversee strategic programs across the organisation, ensuring the successful delivery of business-critical initiatives at both the Group and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) levels.
This role involves aligning program outcomes with the company’s vision, prioritising projects across the group, validating projects’ commercial merits, managing the business analysis function, establishing project management policies and standards, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring comprehensive reporting for all initiatives across the organisation’s African operations.

Candidates interested in this diverse senior role should hold a recognised bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a focus on Program Management (Managing multiple projects), or a related field.
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in a multinational or African region.
Proven experience in leading programs focused on digital transformation, operational optimisation, or market expansion.
Strong track record in evaluating and driving commercial outcomes for business initiatives.
Experience in developing and implementing project management policies and standards.
Proficiency in program and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise technology systems.
