Our client, from the commercial banking sector seeks our assistance in the search and selection of candidates to assume the position of  

Transaction Banking Manager. 

The role will report to the Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking and will be responsible for initiating and enabling transactional sales origination, cross-selling, and client engagement in the business to achieve transaction banking revenue goals. 

Key responsibilities

  • Take the lead in identifying client needs, engaging key influencers and decision makers. Develop solutions and lead proposals and pitches to clients.
  • Understand the local markets and competitor analysis in the country.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Work closely with the Relationship Managers and internal business partners to provide the specialist partnership in delivering the revenue and driver targets for clients.
  • Manage portfolio level planning for the product, brainstorming, and identification of opportunities.
  • Deliver comprehensive suite of payments and cash management, trade finance and foreign exchange solutions.
  • Create value proposition and provide structure guidance to Relationship Managers in driving portfolio revenue.
  • Adhere to internal compliance and regulatory guidelines. 

Qualifications and Experience 

Minimum qualifications and experience required 

  • Undergraduate degree in Sales/Marketing/Business Management.
  • Professional Banking qualification preferred
  • Full and extensive knowledge of cash and trade services products and solutions.
  • 4 years minimum in a similar role with a proven track record of achievement and high performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of competitor solutions.
  • Knowledge of the Business-to-Business sector.
  • Fully aware of industry trends.
  • Proven success rate in negotiation in a corporate environment.
