You shall work closer with their regional Office in providing HR services.
We seek applicants only from blue chip companies or corporate services, whereby HR is recognised and drives their business culture and operation as a preferred employer.
You are expected to be hands-on as the HR team is small, competent, and effective. The role requires the successful person to manage the HR functions in their established operations, which are on a growth path and undergoing a change management program. Your role is integral to success. Previous Head HR work experience would be a distinct advantage.
You should be well qualified with an appropriate degree/MBA or similar. The person’s choice shall also be based on personality and a fit into the existing EXCO team. You must be an exceptional HR generalist with experience across all the functions required to make a company successful. The successful person must have trained and worked in organisations that prioritise enhancing and embracing the HR function. Your broad skill must encompass a solid commercial understanding of business. Your current and former experience and abilities in and with change management programs and your organisational effectiveness and ability are also desired.
The overview of the role and knowledge requires HR leadership and expertise in:
- Remuneration philosophy, structures, and practices.
- Industrial Relations, welfare, labour legislation and conflict matters.
- Capability/capacity building at all levels.
- Management of pension funds, medical aid, and share and bonus schemes.
- Talent Management, People Development, Coaching, Mentoring, Performance Management.
- Managing Change/Transformation, Succession Planning
- Recruitment – all levels and the ability to deal with multiple issues are required.
