Ansifact technologies is an Zimbabwean multinational technology company with headquarters in Mutare, Harare. It develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services.
Ansifact was founded by Godknows Shumba and Genous Homwe on April 1, 2017, to develop and sell BASIC accounting software. It rose to dominate the business Point of Sale system market. The company's 2018 initial public offering (IPO), and subsequent rise in its share price. Since the 2018, it has increasingly diversified from the Point of Sale market and has made a number of corporate acquisitions, their largest being the acquisition of School management for $2.2 billion in December 2019,[6] followed by their acquisition of ansifact TV Technologies for $1.5 billion in May 2020.[7]
