Our client in the spraypaint and panelbeating industry is looking for an Accountant to join their team. You will need to be precise and accurate with numbers. Experience with Pastel Evolution is a necessity for this position.

Requirements
  • Ability to build an accouting department from scratch.
  • Identify pivotal problem areas and formulate solutions to effectively mitigate challenges.
  • Full-cycle accounting
  • Prepares monthly financial reporting, annual budget, cashflow and other financial analyses and management reports
  • Ensure conformity with international accounting policies and business processes
  • Support in day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure efficiency & accuracy of records
  • Reconcile monthly sales in the operating system to master accounting system
  • Reconcile discrepancies/short payments in the master file to vendor statement
  • Prepare weekly pay run to vendors as needed
  • Assist in other administrative project as needed
  • Support with intercompany reconciliation
  • Maintenance of asset depreciation schedules
  • Filing of month-end sales taxes
  • Supporting with month-end closure
