A well-established FMCG company is in search of an objective internal auditor to add value and improve its business operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will thoroughly know accounting procedures and sound judgment. You will require at least three (5) years of audit, internal controls, or internal audit experience.

SoftwareProficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge OfInternal Controls / Audit Methodology / Audit Procedures / Audit Sampling Techniques
Skills ToPerform All Functions of Auditing
Ability ToFacilitate/ Negotiate / Prioritize tasks / Work Independently
Other Requirementsrelevant certifications (CIA, CPA) are a plus
Requirements
  • Conducting internal audits across various departments to assess compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Preparing annual audit plans and compiling audit programs for each audit
  • Communicating internal audit dates & scope with HODs and conducting follow-ups after internal audits
  • Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and recommending improvements
  • Preparing audit reports detailing findings, risks, and actionable recommendations
  • Collaborating with management to develop and implement corrective action plans
  • Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices in internal auditing
  • Assisting in the development of the annual audit plan and risk assessment processes
  • Compiling Internal Audit Board reports quarterly
  • Maintaining Internal Audit database, reports and documents
