At GZU you have several choices to ensure that you follow the correct academic path, according to your capabilities and aptitude. The University offers degree and diploma programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels that are responsive to the needs of the job market in Zimbabwe’s ever-changing economy.

The Great Zimbabwe University is currently situated 7 km east of Masvingo town along the Old Great Zimbabwe Road at Masvingo Teachers’ College. Its main location is going to be 30 km from the City of Masvingo, near the Great Zimbabwe Monuments, where a bigger University Campus will be built.

The GZU offers a unique opportunity to study in a serene environment close to the famous world heritage site, the Great Zimbabwe Monuments, and also close to the biggest inland dam in the country, Lake Mutirikwi, as well as the Kyle National Park. The City of Masvingo, in which the University is located, is equidistant from Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare and Beitbridge.
