Special tests such as Viral Load, Allergy profiling, Bone Marrow Aspirate and Trephine analysis are being done locally including Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests on HIV-DNA Neisseria gonorrhoea, Chlamydia trachomatis and Pulmonary Tuberculosis (PTB) using the GeneXpert Platform.

Medical Laboratories was established in October 1985. The laboratory became the first ISO 15189 Accredited private laboratory in Zimbabwe in July 2014.
